Abbotsford Growers Co-op was founded in 1948 and has been a market leader since its inception and has been synonymous with the community of Abbotsford. Accepting and treating farmers equally and acting as a major source of employment for our community. Abbotsford Growers has been and will continue to be a security blanket and economic pillar for families in the Fraser Valley.

The financial collapse of Abbotsford Growers Co-op resulted in a lapse in the berry market and left many farmers without a home for their berries. The Co-op model that had been founded decades ago and had been integral to the success of Abbotsford Growers was no longer working. Thus a group of likeminded Co-op members banded together to revitalize Abbotsford Growers under new ownership. Beginning the journey of making Abbotsford Growers one of the leading processors and packers of berries in North America.
